What will your company gain from the visit?
Solutions to immediate skills shortages
If your company faces recurring recruitment challenges in industrial roles such as welding, CNC machining, electrical installation or maintenance, you can meet trusted local partners in Manila and start partnership discussions during the visit.
Prepare for future needs
Skills shortages are not always an immediate concern. The visit to Manila is also suitable for companies that want to become familiar with the ecosystem, partners and recruitment process in advance, without pressure to recruit immediately.
New opportunities for international growth
The visit is not only about recruitment. It provides insight into the Philippine market, networks and ways of doing business. This can also benefit companies seeking growth and broader international expansion.
Trusted partners
Work in Finland has mapped the recruitment ecosystem in the Philippines and identified trusted local partners committed to the principles of ethical recruitment.
Programme
The programme consists of four modules, allowing your company to choose the ones that best match its needs:
- Understanding the ecosystem, half a day: overview of the Philippine recruitment landscape, meeting with the DMW and introduction to the consular services of the Embassy of Finland
- Industrial skills, one day: visits to a TESDA training centre and an educational institution, as well as B2B meetings with recruitment partners
- Health and social care skills, one day: introduction to the health and social care training pathway, a visit to an educational institution and B2B meetings with recruitment partners specialising in the sector
- Building partnerships, half a day: one-to-one follow-up discussions and planning the next steps
Throughout the visit period from 18 November to 2 December 2026, Work in Finland’s Talent Manager in the Philippines and trusted recruitment partners will be available in Manila to support participating companies. Your company can choose the 1–3 days within this period that best suit your schedule.
