Improved job application quality and enhanced job-seeking skills.

Boost your company's attractiveness towards International Talents. Enhance candidate preparedness and streamline your recruitment process.

What’s in it for your company?

The Discover Finland project helps Finnish companies in international recruitment through spreading accurate information about Finland in Brazil, India and Vietnam, as well as strengthening the job search skills of international experts through events, e-learning course and group coaching. The project also focuses some of its activities in Philippines.

The Discover Finland project aims to create a comprehensive information pathway for experts living in the selected countries to work in Finland. The objective is to improve the quality of job applications from these countries to Finnish companies, and to make it easier for companies to find the right talent needed for their business development and global growth.

How can your company be a part of it? And why is it worth?

  1. Join us at the events!

The Discover Finland project will be featured and highlighted in various events as part of the Work in Finland. During the events, the Work in Finland team will spread information about study and career opportunities in Finland in the growth centres of Brazil, India and Vietnam in 2025 and 2026. In 2025, the project will be featured in the following events:

Participation in these events can enhance your company’s visibility. In addition, this attendance could provide an excellent opportunity to acquire deeper market understanding, establish valuable contacts and gather fresh perspectives from both partners and competitors in the global marketplace.

  1. Contribute to the e-learning course content!

The Discover Finland project is developing an e-learning course which will provide participants with in-depth knowledge about topics such as job search in Finland, Finnish working life, industries, employee rights and obligations.

Share with us    the essential information you think international applicants should have before joining your team, or information that`s valuable for them to learn once onboard. We will incorporate your insights into our materials, aiming to elevate the quality of candidate applications and ultimately strengthen your international recruitment success.

Additionally, you can shorten the on-boarding time of an international recruit by offering the e-learning course to the selected candidates as a part of your    introduction package before they arrive in Finland. You can then focus on your company specific operations and practices and leave the generic Finnish working life orientation to us.

Furthermore, Discover Finland pathway could be also offered to the spouses of these selected candidates before their arrival to Finland. This could support the family`s relocation and can serve as a preparation kit for Finland. Through this, you can support your future employees’ smooth transition with their families and contribute positively on your employer brand.

  1. Join our group coaching as a coach or a visiting expert!

The Discover Finland project will organize industry specific group coaching sessions for those who have successfully completed the e-learning course. The group coaching sessions will provide more in-depth information on the industries in Finland where international experts are needed.

Experts are usually keen on exploring more about the opportunities in the industry, and a single job may not necessarily suffice to attract them to Finland. Join us in strengthening the attractiveness of your industry for international experts!

You can, for example share information on trends, expectations and requirements related to skills and competences in your industry, as well as tips on how to articulate one’s expertise. By enhancing candidates' preparedness in advance, you receive more quality applications, making you more successful in your international recruitments.
