International House Helsinki’s (IHH) Newcomer Information Session about Working Life provides a wide range of information, whether you are already an entrepreneur or professional or aspiring to become one.
Join the online session to learn best practices and channels for job search in the Helsinki capital region. The session will also cover topics such as earnings-related insurance, social security, unionisation, career support for partners and spouses, and starting a business.
IHH organises regular Newcomer Information Sessions for international newcomers and their family members. The online sessions are held in English and are open and free of charge for anyone who is moving to, or considering moving to, the Helsinki region for work, business, or family reasons.
The sessions provide practical information and guidance on job searching and on the steps to take before and after moving to Finland. However, please note that IHH does not arrange jobs, visas, or residence permits.
The focus of the information sessions alternates between general topics assisting with relocation process, and working life information tailored for jobseekers, employees, and entrepreneurs. The focus of this session is working life.
