How are you creating a better future through technology and innovation? Share your story for a chance to win a unique four-day experience in Finland and discover the country's innovation ecosystem.

A unique opportunity for global talent

Millennium Technology Prize and Work in Finland invite technology and innovation professionals from around the world to take part in the Hope & Impact competition.

 

Two winners will be invited to Finland in June 2027 to explore its innovation ecosystem and participate in the Millennium Technology Prize Forum and the 2027 Award Ceremony for the world’s leading innovation prize.

 

What's included

  • Round-trip flights to Finland and accommodation during the program
  • Accommodation for 3-nights
  • Visits to selected Finnish companies and innovation organizations
  • Participation in the Millennium Technology Prize Forum, a one-day conference, including the 2027 Millennium Technology Prize Award Ceremony
  • Insights into working and building a career in Finland

Please note: Winners are expected to participate in the full program organized during the visit.

How to enter?

Complete the application form, provide your LinkedIn profile, and answer the competition question in no more than 500 characters:

 

“The 2027 Millennium Technology Prize Forum is titled Choosing Hope, Creating Impact. What impact are you creating for a better future through your work with technology and innovation?”

 

Responses will be evaluated for their content, creativity, authenticity, and uniqueness.

 

Who can apply?

 

The competition is open to applicants worldwide who are at least 18 years old and are not citizens or residents of Finland.

  • Applications open: September 28, 2026
  • Applications close: November 15, 2026
  • Selection: The two winners will be contacted directly in December
  • Trip to Finland: Beginning of June 2027 (Millennium Technology Prize Forum takes place on 2 June)
